My philosophy of education is one where this ‘lighting of a fire’ has the power to transform the lives of the children we teach as well as improve their life chances and those of their families, irrespective of their starting point. My passion for and understanding of the importance of knowledge and of all children knowing what the most privileged know, steers my vision to provide and promote outstanding, ambitious, challenging education and life-long learning to all children I am privileged to work with. 

What drives me in this headship is my desire to work in a happy, productive, nurturing and inclusive school that aims to enrich the lives and life chances of all its pupils. I am passionate about driving the ethos at Magna Carta, and I share its passion for developing the whole child, not limiting anyone and raising aspirations for all. I am excited about steering the community further towards achieving its vision.
